New Event For 2026

Walk For The Wounded is taking our challenge to new length’s this year. Stepping away from our 42 km weighted marathon walk, to a backyard fixed time ultra marathon event.

 

This October 24th & 25th, participants will challenge themselves, and each other, to see how far each will go in 24 hours. The event will be done on a fixed 5 km loop, while still wearing a 20 lb vest. Each time they pass the start line, participants must pay a debt of 22 push-ups to begin the next lap.

This is an inaugural format event, and will have participants joining remotely from Canadian Forces Bases across Canada. Registration is closed for this year, but we welcome others to join us in the walk in 2027. Until then, follow along our socials to stay informed, and cheer them on.
